Very tasty trout and cozy beer garden

Typical Franconian restaurant, but was closed at 21 clock

We were there on 03. October and can only rate the service. The host at the tap was friendly, the colleague in the service but totally overburdened and unfriendly. We sat there for about 20 minutes, then got a table that came after us in front of us the cards and only when the host has pointed out, that we also need cards "the" usher threw the card on the table. To her obvious superior then she just said ... "what can I pour all this in here". We as a guest can not help it and after the card landed on our table popping we got up and left

Were here in October 2019 during a stay in Pottenstein eat here. Atmosphere: Guest room with many tables and a view of the glass brewery Service: fast, friendly and in dirndl; they get on request a robber dish Drinks: home-brewed beers at reasonable prices (3,10 € / 0,5l); unfortunately only open on weekends (the Pottensteinern is too good 😂) Food: very rich and tasty; delicious sauce, Schäufela something for fans of hearty meals, good desserts Conclusion: very good, recommended If you find the review helpful, please click on thumbs up.

We went on a day trip to Pottenstein by chance for lunch in this restaurant. Delicious food with a cozy spot in the beer garden. Service very friendly and in good condition.

Very good Schäufele, nice service, cozy beer garden behind the inn. There is also delicious beer from our own brewery. Definitely worth a visit!

If I could I would give Minus Stars. Food was grotto bad, far too little and absolutely overpriced. Today 3 of 4 people Diarrhea or vomiting incl. Stomach cramps. Staff totally unfriendly, almost pulls the plate away under the food ........ I can only say, this shop is shunned. Never eaten so badly.

Very nice service. The food was very good and also cheap. Although at the same time with us a 25-member group had returned, we were served quickly. The beer is also highly recommended.

Where should I start the 2 nice young conditions were super friendly, but the gentleman behind the bar was really outrageous, tired and in a bad mood. Food was okay. I would not recommend it. The 2 stars are for the service and because you could eat the food.

Rude and Slow! the beer garden was really nice and we were really excited to eat something here! However, half an hour before the hot meal is officially over, we were told that we would not get anything! No regrets, no kind word, just go now!

We visited the pub on a Sunday afternoon. The cool beer garden invites you to eat and drink. Friendly service and very good beer (shandy, organic - dark) from our own brewery. Really tasty and GOOD! The price 0.5 l - 2.90 € 🔝 For dinner we ordered the sauerbraten with red cabbage and spaetzle. I would like to highlight the absolutely tender meat and the red cabbage with vanilla flavor. Extremely good !!! The service was absolutely friendly and attentive. We paid ~ 26 € for two shandy and two sauerbraten. Perfect! We'll be back, thank you very much and keep it up !!

Today we had a nice break with the Igelshieber fair. Nice service, great atmosphere.

Nice food , beer and host!!

The food was outstanding. We were there with 4 people and had ordered boiled beef, carriage cutlet, sauerbraten and Schäufele. All of the dishes were extremely delicious without exception. Plus a top service and more than fair prices. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone on the corner. It's worth it even with a longer journey!

In a touristic place like Pottenstein this brewery keeps local atmosphere. Good food, very good beer.
